Privacy Policy

DIGIRINGO (“DIGIRINGO”, “we”, “us”) provides a cloud phone service: you rent a phone number and use it to make and receive calls and text messages from the DIGIRINGO app at digiringo.com and the DIGIRINGO Android app.

This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, the mobile app, and the API behind them.

1. Information we collect

a) Information you give us

• Account details — your name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), and workspace/profile names.
• Billing details — the plan or bundle you buy and your transaction history. Card numbers are entered directly into our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
• Business verification details — if you register for 10DLC / A2P messaging, the business name, address, EIN, website and contact details required by US carrier registries.
• Content you create — the text of messages you send, contacts you save, voicemail greetings and call-forwarding numbers you configure.

b) Information created by using the service

• Call and message records — the phone numbers involved, direction, timestamps, duration, delivery status and cost. This is required to connect, bill and troubleshoot your calls.
• Message content — SMS/MMS you send and receive is stored in your inbox so you can read your conversation history.
• Voicemail recordings, if you enable voicemail.
• Phone numbers you rent, their status and renewal dates.

c) Information collected automatically

• Device and app data — app version, device model, operating system, and a push notification token so we can ring your phone for an incoming call.
• Technical logs — IP address, request time and error diagnostics, kept for security and debugging.

We do not collect your device contacts, photos, precise location, or the content of anything outside the DIGIRINGO app.

2. Why we use it

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell or rent it.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to operate DIGIRINGO, and only what each one needs:

• Telnyx LLC — our telecom carrier. Carries your calls and messages and provides your phone numbers. Receives the numbers involved and the message content being transmitted. Telnyx privacy policy.
• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Receives your payment details directly; we receive only a token and the result. Stripe privacy policy.
• Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — delivers the incoming-call and message notifications to your Android device. Receives the push token and the notification payload. Firebase privacy.
• Hostinger — hosting of the application and database.

We may also disclose information where legally required — a valid court order, subpoena or lawful carrier/regulator request — or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

If DIGIRINGO is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, your information may transfer to the successor, which remains bound by this policy.

4. How long we keep it

• Account data — while your account is open.
• Messages, call records and voicemail — retained in your account until you delete them or close your account.
• Billing records — retained as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 7 years), even after account closure.
• Technical logs — typically 30–90 days.

5. Deleting your data

To delete your entire account and the personal data in it, email support@digiringo.com from your registered address with the subject “Delete my account”. You can also ask us to delete specific data only — messages, call history or voicemail recordings — while keeping your account, with the subject “Delete my data”.

We confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days. Deleting your account releases any phone numbers you rent (they cannot be recovered afterwards) and cancels active plans. Billing records are retained as described above; everything else is removed.

6. Security

All traffic between your device and DIGIRINGO is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and never in readable form. Card details never touch our servers. Access to production systems is restricted to the people who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users promptly if a breach involving personal data occurs.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Exercise any of these by writing to support@digiringo.com. We do not discriminate against users who exercise these rights.

DIGIRINGO does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

8. Children

DIGIRINGO is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have, we delete it.

9. International transfers

Our servers and providers are located in the United States and Europe. If you use DIGIRINGO from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data-protection laws than yours.

10. Messaging consent

You are responsible for the messages you send through DIGIRINGO, including obtaining the consent required by law (TCPA, CTIA guidelines and carrier rules) from the people you message, and honouring STOP/opt-out requests. Accounts used for spam or unlawful messaging are suspended.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change significantly affects you, notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
